Professional Biography
Xiao Huang stayed as Adjunct Lecturer in Sun Yat-sen University in 2000, and became a Lecturer in 2002. She continued to study and work as Adjunct Lecturer and Research Assistant at CUNY, and received her Ph.D. in Biochemistry in January 2009. After her degree, she worked in University of Wisconsin-Madison and then at Madison Area Technical College as a biology instructor.
Since October 2015, Dr. Huang joined the faculty in College of Life Sciences at South China Agricultural University as an Associate Professor. Her current research interests focus on plant autophagy and vesicle trafficking. She hopes that all of her experience will kind of converge in one place, which is to help people who come into contact with her in some ways.
